Jeff Buckley - The Grace EPs Jeff Buckley
The Grace EPs brings together five EP releases by Jeff Buckley, collecting studio tracks, B-sides and live recordings that expand the world around Grace. Spanning nineteen tracks, the set draws from Peyote Radio Theatre, Last Goodbye, So Real, Live From The Bataclan and The Grace EP, many of which were previously hard to find or unavailable outside their original territories.
Across the collection, familiar songs appear in alternate form alongside standout live recordings, including ‘Last Goodbye’, ‘Grace’ and ‘So Real’, plus extended performances of ‘Hallelujah’ and ‘Mojo Pin’ that capture Buckley’s intensity on stage. The set also highlights his interpretive range, from the expansive take on Van Morrison’s ‘The Way Young Lovers Do’ to the medley ‘Je N’En Connais Pas la Fin / Hymne A L’Amour’, Hank Williams’ ‘Lost Highway’, and a long-form version of Alex Chilton’s ‘Kanga-Roo’.
Rounding out the collection is ‘Tongue’, an eleven-minute ambient studio instrumental that closes the set on an eerie, exploratory note. Together, these recordings offer a revealing snapshot of Buckley’s restless creativity, on stage and in the studio.
